All Who Are Thirsty

Isaiah 41:17

17When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.

I thank you Lord and praise your beautiful name because you did not forsake me when I left your side. But instead, you picked me up and carried me back to you. How wonderful you are Lord...how merciful you are Lord. I praise you Lord because you are drink to those who are thirsty and you are bread to those who are hungry. I worship you My Lord, My God, My Savior.

Glory be to you Lord...forever and ever.

Amen

I Will Be Glad And Rejoice In Thee!

I wanted to praise God because the Lord used me tonight (for the first time) to bring two people to the Lord. I was nervous, but as soon as I opened my mouth a peace came upon me...and I give all Glory to God because I know that in myself I could NOT do what I did tonight. Glory to God!!!

I also want to praise God for my sister Merina and for her boldness to also share the Gospel for the first time tonight.

John 14:26-27

26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

27Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Psalm 9:1-2

1I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

2I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

Praise The Lord!

Amen

Are You Excited To Serve The Lord?

Luke 15:4-7
4What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
5And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
7I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

I just want to praise God because this is something to be excited about!  The scripture says that "joy shall be in heaven".  Imagine the joy in heaven...the angels singing...the Lord smiling down...that is something to be excited about.

Zephaniah 3:17
17The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

Luke 15:8-10
8Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?
9And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.
10Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

This scripture says that "there is joy in the presence of the angels of God".  When I read this, I new why I was so excited to go out evangelizing!  I was excited because I could feel the presence of God when we were sharing the word...he was upon us...he was smiling...he was excited.  And that is something we should also be excited about!

Isaiah 12:2-4

2Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
3Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
4And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

How wonderful and exciting it is that God has chosen us to serve him.

Please share...why are you excited to serve the Lord?

God's Little Evangelist

For those of you who do not know, my husband and I were recently called to join the evangelist team at our church.  We have been sharing our experiences with our children...well Friday morning my son Dallas (7 years old) decided he wanted to evangelize also! So, all day he was very excited. I mentioned that he should share The Gospel with his cousins. Dallas knows they are not saved and he has been praying for them for a long time. He new what God was asking him to do.

Luke 10:21
21In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

All morning Saturday he had his Bible in his hand and was waiting for the perfect time. The Lord had him read later that night when we went to a restaurant. Dallas told me that he wanted to share The Gospel, but he was nervous. And I told him to not think about it and just do it! Because if God is asking him to do something he needs to be obedient. So, he read...he started by asking them if they would like to hear The Gospel of Jesus Christ. Next, he read John 3:3 and then Romans 10:9. I was so excited that the Lord used him in such a mighty way!

Zephaniah 3:17
The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

Dallas came up to me after he read in tears and said, "Mom, I don't think they are saved yet though. They just think I'm reading them a story and that's it. They don't understand". I explained to him, that sometimes people do not understand...but if we keep praying eventually, they will understand. We are helping God find his lost sheep, but sometimes the sheep do not want to be found because they want to do things their own way. We just have to wait and eventually they will realize that they do not want to be lost anymore. And they will be so happy when they are found!
